MURAL PROCESS

Our initial consultation is free online or at a $75 charge in person, fully applicable to the mural fee. After learning more about your visions and design ideas, I will forward a proposal/quote which includes basic renderings/sketch outlines of the project. Once the design, fees and dates are agreed on, you’ll sign a contract and submit your deposit to secure your dates.

PRICING

Mural pricing is determined by:

1. Location and footage

2. Cost of materials

3. Intricacy of design

4. Working conditions

The cost for most murals is $10-$20 per sq.ft. and can extend to $30-$60 per sq.ft. There may be additional charges depending on working conditions such as restricted hours of operation, cramped spaces or driving time and distance. $500 is the minimum project fee for murals.

Pricing includes all regular supplies and equipment. Specialized equipment or scaffolding needed to complete the job will be added to the price of the mural cost estimate. Any prep painting, wall patching, or wall preparation will be an additional fee. Prep painting may include filling holes in walls, texturing and putting a primer or base coat on the wall.

How to Measure Square Footage: Measure the length and height of the wall (or part of the wall) to be painted. Multiply both numbers together

Example Scenario:

A 50 square foot wall at the lowest price ($10 sq ft. fee- low detail) is $500.00.  At the highest price ($30 sq. ft fee- high detail), the same wall would cost $1500.00. Most children's wall murals fall into the $10-$20 price range.
